Nestled between Brenta Dolomites and Adamello-Presanella mountains, Madonna di Campiglio, at an altitude of 1,550 m (5,085 ft), is one of the most famous tourist destinations of all the Alps.
The area’s lengthy season for skiing —featuring the 156 km of runs within the Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta Ski Area—begins in November and ends in April.
The area boasts the highest concentration of four-star (48) and four-star superior (6) hotels in the Trentino region. There are also three five-star hotels, and a new five-star luxury in Pinzolo, inspired by sustainability, overall wellness, and Italian style, opened its doors in August 2019.
Today, three of restaurants have each earned themselves a Michelin star, and the quality of gourmet cuisine is well renowned throughout the area.
The premier events begins on December 22, 2022 with the night slalom of the Alpine Ski World Cup.
